Fewer Chaise Lounges on Edge?

Hi there -

Just looking  at deck plans and I may be wrong but - does it appear there is less space for loungers on the Edge? Silhouette has them on two decks, Edge only one.

My eyes could be playing tricks on me but if I'm correct, the chair hogs could be worse than ever. :classic_unsure:

There are quite a few on deck 15 and suites guests will have the Retreat pool..

Seems these loungers are one deck up from the pool area?

I see an  elevator  on the diagram....are there also stairs?

Seems like the S class where there are sun loungers one deck up..kind of,..

Thanks - I was looking at the deck plans on the X site and they don't show any on Deck 15. Crisis averted!

No I think you were right the first time.  There isn't even an upper deck on one side of the pool, just a jogging track.

Not directly over the pool deck...but shows seating areas to the side of rooftop garden.....if folks don't need to be close to the pool they might enjoy this area..We'll find out soon!

...and for everyone else that enjoys being close to the deck?   It looks like they are out of luck.

When are you cruising on EDGE?

Maybe early reviews will  indicate there are enough seats?   All a guess now....

You are new to Cruise Critic...or new screen name?

Not sure when I’m cruising on the Edge.  Why does it matter?  They don’t have enough open deck space.

See photo below ( posted recently on another thread)

Seems to show chairs in an upper deck????? Maybe there are  more chairs ..

We'll look for sea facing loungers under the overhang

Does this thread suggest that we should bring our own fold- up lounge chairs. We will have to contact our TA to see if the line will  accommodate passengers in S1 category to exchange the chairs provided for lounges instead.

I think that's a hot topic right now...see suite life thread!

There are TONS of chairs on the pool deck.  And at least half of them have been unoccupied.  I think what they have done with the levels does not come across well in pictures but in person it is very spacious and more than enough seating.

I believe the comment about bringing a lounge chair is for the stateroom balcony which is a separate issue.
