Star Princess (PCL NEWBIE)

Hi 🙂

 

I am not new to cruising (have done a few CCL) but new to Princess.  I tried to search out info regarding cabins but just can't seem to find this information.

 

I booked today (gotta love $1 deposit plus the 3-for-free promo) for the Star 15 day Hawaii for 12-04-19 ---  My daughter turns 21 during the sailing and my birthday (gonna be 35 again 😉) as well during the sailing.

 

I booked us a balcony on the caribe deck towards the aft.  Can someone confirm that the balcony's are larger than standard balconies?  I wanted to do the balcony dining for daughters birthday and didnt want to feel really cramped.

 

If this info is already posted someone where ....   if you point me in the right direction that would be awesome as well.

Yes, the Caribe deck balconies are bigger.

Yes, 9' x 9' with 5' covered and 4' not covered. Great location we book these most of the time. Since these are category BD cabins and since you are a new Princess customer it's possible you may be upgraded. Upgrades may include cats. BC, BB and BA which have 9' x 5' fully covered balconies, still a nice size. Search the deck plans for further information.

I sailed aft on the Star to Hawaii. Just be aware the first two days at sea and the last two days returning can be choppy waters as you cross over the Alaskan current.
