HCTiger9704 Posted December 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2018 I am going on the Norwegian Breakaway out of New Orleans. Seven days cruise and I leave on March 31, 2018. The last time I cruise with NCL, it was April 2014. Is there any changes with NCL that I should be aware of since 2014? By what I heard, one of the rules is I can no longer carry a case of coke onto the ship like I did in 2014? I sailed with Carnival Cruise Line in 2015 and in 2016. Carnival Cruise Line and NCL are both great cruise lines in my opinion but I am excited to be returning to NCL. I am especially happy that one of NCL's cruise ships that have the studio cabins will be sailing out of New Orleans.
esm54687 Posted December 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Highly recommend you spend some time on NCL.com and read the FAQ section...... way too many things have changed in the world, never mind the cruise industry, since 2014 to list here. bbnjcruiser Posted December 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2018 I understand they intend to replace the specialty dining menus with a selection of Hot Pockets (pepperoni are of course an up charge as is using the microwave without the ultimate microwave package)
Rare BirdTravels Posted December 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Enjoy your cruise! Minor things change all the time. Go with the flow and enjoy!
newmexicoNita Posted December 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2018 As Bird travels says, there are always little changes but nothing earth shaking. You are correct you can, no longer bring on your own water and/or soda. I can't think of any other huge change other than increase on costs, which happens with everything in today's world.
