RSF Cruiser Posted December 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2018 We’ll be on a Princess Hawaii cruise next week. Is there a shuttle bus that goes between the Aloha Tower and Waikiki? Anyone know how long it takes?
bonsai3s Posted December 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2018 There are shuttles that will take you to Walmart or Hilo Hatties...but not to Waikiki. We usually walk a few blocks to King Street and take the local bus to Waikiki. It takes about 1/2 hour from Aloha Tower to Waikiki. $2.75 one way or $1 if you are a senior ( show your Medicare card if you have one) or disabled. Happy Sailing! alibabacruisers Posted December 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2018 We were on a cruise on Cunard a few years ago and there was a shuttle to Waikiki but via a jewelry shop. We just went in and had a look around and then exited the building to wait for the shuttle to Waikiki. I think it dropped us off outside one of the hotels but can't remember which one. As the OP says, you can also take a short walk to catch the bus, which is really economical at $5.50 for a day pass.
marden1970 Posted December 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2018 It's even cheaper if you are 65 or older, just $2 for an all day pass! Just ask the driver before you pay. You can check their website at http://thebus.org for routes and schedules
