BrianasMom Posted December 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Hey Everyone! We just got back from the 8 day Southern Caribbean aboard the beautiful Carnival Horizon. The ship is amazing, Mike did an incredible job, and overall we had a wonderful cruise. I have copies of fun times, menus (I'm missing a few here and there), and some miscellaneous pictures of the ship, food, and ports. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them!

BrianasMom Posted December 26, 2018 Author #16 Share Posted December 26, 2018 I'm not a big drinker at all, but decided to get CHEERS. I like to have as much pre-paid as I can so avoid a huge bill in the end. It allowed me to try new things and not worry about the individual price. I managed to order 56 drinks over the 8 days, which averages to 7 a day. So I'd like to think I broke even at least. LOL Here are a few I ordered (Definitely forgot pictures of a lot of them) Miami Vice- Twilight Zone- Strawberry Daiquiri- Midori Sour- Pina Colada- Hurricane Wave- Chocolate Getaway- Bahama Mama- Island Delight Milkshake-
JaniceB Posted December 26, 2018 #17 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Thanks for all the funtimes, menus, food and drink pictures!
Shaded Lady Posted December 26, 2018 #18 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Thanks for the review- boy am I hungry right now!!! Seriously, I would go for Cheers as well if I was the only adult in the cabin, but unfortunately my hubby qualifies as an adult (technically, at least although it's debatable!) and doesn't drink at all so it's not worth it to me. Otherwise I'd get it for just the reason you did!
ProgRockCruiser Posted December 26, 2018 #19 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Thanks for the review! We're doing a S Carib in a couple of years, slightly different itinerary (Grand Turk and Aruba are the two ports in common, but we have four sea days, with Bonaire as the other port!), but I'd still love to hear about all the ports - especially since we want to get to Curacao eventually. And your food porn reminded me how much we enjoyed the MDR this past cruise. Yum!
30scruiser Posted December 26, 2018 #20 Share Posted December 26, 2018 This was awesome! Thanks for doing it. What were your favorites? Also, your daughters are gorgeous!
Jenjer Posted December 27, 2018 #21 Share Posted December 27, 2018 Thank You so much for the menus and food pics. I am the planner and the picky eater so it has really helped me pick what days to eat in the MDR and what days to plan on going some place else....not like there are not options. Especially liked the Ocean plaza Breakfast pics, since that is supposed to be the easiest place to grab some breakfast
WashCoCruisers Posted December 27, 2018 #22 Share Posted December 27, 2018 I am sure this has been answered, but I couldn't find it! Is there refridgerators in the cabins on the Horizon?
