Yes.  Call the number on the certificate and they will tell you how it works.  They will probably just deduct the $500 from what you owe, but they may say that they have to "reprice" the cruise, if you didn't make the reservation in the past 24 hours.

 

Obviously no problem if you use it on a new booking.

I guess we've been lucky.  I've applied them to existing cruises fairly often.

You can apply them to existing reservations but they do reprice it.
