seastar2 Posted December 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2018 Has anyone stayed at the YVE Hotel in Miami?? It is on Biscayne Blvd.. Any impute from locals on the boards?? We will be there for one night precruise in March. Our first time out of Miami... We have looked a several hotel threads with recommendations... This hotel was one. We like the staying away from major chains. We have noted that no hotels offer shuttles and very few include breakfast. Looks within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Bayside Market Place.. Thanks
champagne123 Posted December 30, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2018 It is a beautiful hotel. The only downside is that the bathrooms are very small...but not a big deal.
Rare Noxequifans Posted December 30, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2018 Besides small rooms people who have stayed there report elevator issues. Great location but the Intercontinental is much better.
Rare Noxequifans Posted December 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2018 The YVE and Intercontinental are very close to the port .... just a very short taxi ride away.
skrufy Posted December 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2018 We stayed there a couple of years ago. The room we had was small but comfortable. Would stay there again.

drychi Posted December 31, 2018 #8 Share Posted December 31, 2018 Ditto good experience at this hotel two years ago. Great location for a pre cruise stay. Elevator is small so plan some time into your departure for this issue. Used Uber from front door to pier. Ten minutes. Happy Cruising! Bob and Linda. Musigurl Posted December 31, 2018 #9 Share Posted December 31, 2018 Had a great experience -- ended up there after the Holiday Inn next door goofed and "accidentally" gave away our room. They were so nice, and even offered us two vouchers for free drinks in their bar. I would definitely stay there again.
islesdave Posted December 31, 2018 #10 Share Posted December 31, 2018 I've stayed there. Great location, Bayside Marketplace across the street. Rooms have a European boutique feel to them. On-site restaurant is excellent.
seastar2 Posted January 1, 2019 Author #11 Share Posted January 1, 2019 Thanks all...YVE will be our place to stay...Prices look good... The "resort" fee is annoying doubt that we will us the gym...Maybe the pool before we go to the ship but then we have to deal with wet swimsuits.. Bayside Market looks intriguing … Side note...are we able to bring a small case of water on board?? thanks
