shiphappy Posted January 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Would someone with a walker have any trouble using it at most places on the edge?
Rare cruisestitch Posted January 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Most places, no. But there are a few places only accessible by going up or down steps. The handicap elevator in Eden is too tight a fit for a scooter but would be fine for a walker.
jasm8449 Posted January 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2019 A handicap elevator that can’t fit a scooter? Areas that can only be accessed by stairs? Unacceptable on a new build.

Suggest you look for poster Kearney's review about the scooter on EDGE..cabin, venues, EDEN elevator. Scooter is bigger than a walker but she had many tips for easier access to venues, best elevator ramps that connect..etc. If I find it, I'll post a link
ecslady Posted January 3, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2019 There is also an area of the Martini Bar only accessible by stairs as well. A small portion has a ramp for wheelchair, scooter, etc. There are also 3 steps to get up to the main pool level and those lounges. The contraption (don't know what you call it) that lowers disabled people into the pool on the other ships is also missing on Edge.
