Hey all, we are leaving Baltimore in April on a 12 day cruise. Looking to book some dinner reservations. Just wondering what time are the Main Theater/comedy, etc shows? Does the times vary when we are at Sea Days or in the Ports?
Thanks

Mike

They vary a bit.  And some nights there is only one show.

On Grandeur, we (3 cruises) have not had a problem with walking up, both in the MDR and specialty restaurants.  This is not a mega ship?

Which cruise are you on?  We are on the April 6 departure.  If you haven't, check out the roll call thread.

Book your dinner around the 2 traditional times....that's how the shows are scheduled.  If you eat at or around the early seating, you will go to the after dinner show.  If you want to eat later, you will go to the early show.  It's so simple on the smaller ships!

As I said, you really don't need to book.  Except maybe for lobster night.

We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes just walking up.

And even lobster night, we booked the night before.  They suggested a time between traditional seating so that the early diners were eating dessert and the late ones had not arrived.  So the kitchen was a bit less busy for entrees.

Thank you all for your replies.

But we have a group of 14. Do you think we will just be able to walk up with minimal wait, or maybe make the reservation the night or a few days before?

PS: Yes April 6th..i'll check out roll call.
Thanks

Mike

I would make reservations if you all want to eat near each other.

Just walking up might be an issue.

But booking once you are onboard would work.

They will just need to know to put together for a large group.

If you were to eat in two groups, it would possibly work to just walk up.
