mimxmom Posted January 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) Any restaurants or bars with nice view of the sunset? February. Preferably somewhere we can also hang out at during the day. Edited January 7, 2019 by mimxmom

Just posted similar information in this post. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2619790-where-will-we-dock-and-what-to-do-at-night-in-cozumel/?tab=comments#comment-56486151 Probably for a prolonged stop Money Bar would be best but no real beach. Some of the resort hotels offer twilight passes too which you can consider. Basically anywhere on the west coast. Ask if you have any further questions. JohninDC Posted January 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2019 Money Bar beach club offers good snorkeling from the shore, good facilities, good food and a sunset happy hour. 😎
slp1323 Posted January 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2019 If you are in town, The Thirsty Cougar has a great view of the sunset with fantastic food and drinks. We have a place in Cozumel and it's one of our favorite people watching spots. Say hi to Nico for us. Have a great time!
ABQrobin Posted January 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2019 Anything downtown with a "view" of ocean will be more expensive and less quality food. I avoid them at all costs. Money Bar is south of the piers, oceanfront, and amazing views all day long, with good food. Its a nice place to hang out for a few hours, watch the boats go by, or snorkel. Any suggestions for a lunch & drink sort of place closer to the International Pier? We've been to Cozumel a few times, so we're thinking about just grabbing some lunch and beverages within walking distance while our adult kids are off on their excursion, and then enjoying the empty ship. slp1323 Posted January 18, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2019 There is a Pancho's Backyard inside the pier that has a great view of the water. They have great food and margaritas. Outside of the cruise area is Macarena Mexican Restaurant. It's right across the street with a great outdoor patio.

Panchos is inside Carnival Pier at Puerta Maya. 12 hours ago, D C said: Any suggestions for a lunch & drink sort of place closer to the International Pier? Depends how far you want to walk and type of place you are looking for. Closest would be bars and restaurants at the pier - Margaritaville, senor Frogs. There is Puerta Maya pier, right out of port. El cid left out of port. Royal village opposite. Further to left, Ernestos, Tikila, Paprika, Sunset, Turquoise Bar. Google for photos and websites. I would say a 10-15 minute walk from the pier is fine. Someplace "local" would be preferable to a chain like Senor Frogs or Margaritaville.
