Looking for a day room in Copenhagen or a place to store bags

We have an 11 night cruise booked that leaves out of Copenhagen. We are already at the max amount of time my husband can take off so we aren't able to come in a day early. All of the flights into Copenhagen arrive around 7am. The earliest we can check into the ship is 1pm. We'd like to be able to see some of Copenhagen so we need a place to drop the luggage. We will have 3 carry ons and 2 larger bags. I know in Alaska there is a service you can book where a lady will store your bags for you while you sightsee. I would even be willing to book a day room so we can freshen up. TIA.

I'm surprised at such a late check in time.  Most ships begin boarding around 11.  What specific cruise are you going on?

I'm asking because if they've just published that time, but it's not, in fact, accurate, you may be able to drop your bags at the port and then come back later in the day to actually check in.

Also, you've kind of posted this question in a no-man's land that most people don't look at.   Rather than posting in the generic "Europe" forum,  click through to the "Northern Europe" forum, and you'll likely get more responses.

FWIW: we took the train from CPH airport to CPH Central train station. Easy and takes only 15 minutes via train. You can read about it here: https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/taking-train-copenhagen-airport

There are luggage lockers & staffed luggage storage located in CPH Central. https://en.hovedbanen.dk/dsb-information/dsb-luggage-service/

From CPH Central (located opposite Tivoli Gardens), it is easy to DIY using one's feet and/or metro.

Other options include:

Airluggage (they will pick-up luggage at airport and deposit at cruise ship for you): https://airluggage.dk/

Valizo (same scheme as above) https://www.valizo.com/

We had a late flight out when we returned to Copenhagen so we stored our bags at the checked luggage facility at the central train station.  You can walk to everything and the station is a quick 10 min nonstop ride from the airport.  Look into a 1 day Copenhagen pass.   The checked luggage has lockers of various sizes as well as someone you can give it to to store if it won't fit.   It's located at the back of the station, 1 level down... there is a elevator and stairs.
