Honolulu cruise pier to Ala Moana shopping center

I'd grab a cab!  Also - before heading out, have a sound idea of where your tour bus will pick you up.  Ask them for a map.  The Ala Moana (shopping) Center is large and multi-storied/odd levels.  (And boy, do I love it!)

We took THEBUS. 

 

Right outside the cruise ship.  You will see the Macys.  Off you go.  After shopping, head off to Waikiki and walk on the beach.  

 

 

NEW FARE INFORMATION 
Effective: 1/1/2018
ADULT FARE & PASSES

"Adult" means any person over the age of 17 who does not qualify as a "Youth."

One-Way Fare: $2.75

1-Day Pass $5.50
Ask your bus operator for the 1-Day Pass before placing your money in the farebox. 
Valid 12:00 a.m. - 2:59 a.m. the next day, for up to 27 hours of unlimited rides.

TRANSFERS DISCONTINUED 10/1/2017
STARTING 10/1/2017, riders who need to transfer may purchase a 1-Day Pass on the bus good for rides all day.

One (1) Child, 5 years & under FREE 
(when accompanied by a fare-paying passenger and not occupying a seat)
