MNsun2019 Posted January 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2019 We're 99% sure we're heading to Brewer's Bay and as it sounds like the odds of any food options being ready in the week are slim, is there a place anyone would recommend to grab food to take with us as we come off the ship before jumping in a taxi? Our plan is to hire a taxi vs the safari bus so maybe even a known option along the way? Thanks!

If you have no wish to purchase at the beach, then just ask your Restaurant Maitre D' to organise a pic-nic for you. They never say no.
MNsun2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted January 13, 2019 OK, Thanks! We're happy to support a beach cafe, but it sounds like the one we are going to won't have food yet.

MNsun2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted January 13, 2019 To clarify, I'm asking if there are any cafe's or dining establishments in the Tororla port or along the road to Brewer's Bay that we can buy "food to go".

I responded to your question in your other thread but will reply here too. The French Deli is our absolute favorite spot to grab a lunch when we go to Smuggler’s Cove or other secluded beaches. We have a vehicle, but your taxi driver will gladly stop for you and the first 15 minutes of wait time are free, each 15 minute block after is $10. http://frenchdelibvi.com/deli Amazing baguette subs and they carry wines, etc. Definitely worth stopping! Not for us (if it is allowed) - the French Deli is amazingly delish! Definitely a treat after the cruise line cuisine... Rather than bring something from the ship, folks should want to experience these types of places when an opportunity presents itself based on others’ experiences. No it is around the inner harbor, about a 2 km drive from the cruise pier and not directly on the way to the beaches. But if you take a personal (non-shared) taxi they will stop.
