Laundry on Ships

In the past I've done laundry in the self-service laundry rooms on board. For the next cruise I'm considering having it done by the ship laundry. Can anyone give me information on what to expect, especially on Princess ships? For example, do you send all underwear to the laundry and if so do they put everything in dryers? I never put bras in dryers and don't want them to. Also can you request they not put items in dryers such as T-shirts? I guess my main concern is that clothes will shrink from being put in dryers.

I strongly suggest you hand wash those items in your sink and hang them on the clothes line that is in the bathroom.

I would recommend that any item that you have a concern with that you not send out for cleaning.

I can do the laundry in the sink with no problem. I'm just looking for information from people who have actually used the ship laundry service. Thanks.

We are very careful about what we send to the laundry. They use only hot water and everything goes into a hot dryer.
