Ship shows question

Does anyone know how often the shows on each ship change?  Do all the Carnival ships in the fleet have the same shows?  I was on the Valor 8 months ago, and enjoyed the shows.  I just got back this week from another cruise on the Valor and all the shows were the same that we had seen 8 months ago,   which I found boring. (seeing the same show)   I know many people don't care for the shows, but I always love going to the shows.  I am scheduled to go on the Dream in May and I am hoping that each ship has different shows as I certainly don't want to watch the same show 3 times!!

Thanks!

shows change every 5 or so years when the ship is in drydock

Not totally correct. Shows are typically on multiple ships. For example have seen Epic Rock on at least 4 different ships.

Odds are OP might see 1 or 2 shows on the Dream they saw on their last cruise.

Oh my!  That is a long time to have the same shows!  I would think they could change them up at the very least every year!  Is this how it is on all cruise lines?  Or just Carnival?

Instead of changing the shows, they move the ships around.
