noosa_blue150 Posted January 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2019 (edited) Look up Sydney pylon lookout climb- less than 200 steps, off the harbour bridge itself. website clearly shows you how to get there ( via rocks area) 360 degree views around Sydney harbour , and no need to book or pay more than $15 great pictures of the history of the bridge - well worth the visit climbing the bridge often requires booking ahead months before and then some not good with heights. Rare MicCanberra Posted January 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2019 A great tip for anyone interested in the bridge.
noosa_blue150 Posted January 20, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted January 20, 2019 Yes not many realise that’s its available. I went as a kid ( in those days you had to go from the very bottom, no lift) and we saw the white cats that lived at the top. Great option for those who can’t afford the huge climb fee , or who worry about heights
Rare MicCanberra Posted January 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2019 I did it once around 30 years ago, should do it again.
The_Big_M Posted January 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2019 Wow, even that's gone up. Remember it used to be $7. Still a lot cheaper than the overpriced option though.

noosa_blue150 Posted January 20, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted January 20, 2019 That’s for adults- cheaper for kids and concessions . Still a bargain considering the bridge climb has to be booked usually a month or two in advance and isn’t cheap .
Rare MicCanberra Posted January 21, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 21, 2019 Definitely a good option.
Dobby_The_Ship_Elf Posted January 21, 2019 #9 Share Posted January 21, 2019 I had a look at the website and I think this may be challenging Wobbies World or Piss Weak World for the 'underwhelm factor.' So called 'famous visitors' include Basil Brush, Stuart Little and Bob the F@#king Builder - gimme a break. In fact the last famous person of note visited in 2004 so there's a chance for someone from CC to visit two days in a row to end up in in their Hall of Fame.
