Taking wine with us after dinner?

If we buy a bottle of wine at dinner in the MDR and don't finish it, can we take the rest of the bottle with us to the show or lounge or wherever? I know they can hold it for the next day or have it sent to the bar of our choice to drink another time, but I want to be able to physically take it with us, if possible, instead of waiting for it to be 'sent' anywhere.

Not a problem -- take your bottle of unfinished wine wherever you want to on the ship.

 

If you are going directly to the show from the dining room, you might want to take your wine glasses with you.

It helps to have on hand a couple of good (secure) wine corks.  I also have a discreet, black wine sleeve with handle that looks like an elongated ladies clutch, for those rare occasions when I would feel self conscious walking down the hall clutching a bottle of wine.  Since most of my friends and acquaintances consider a wine glass or bottle one of my standard accessories, that does not happen very often...

Once you buy a bottle of wine you can drink it anywhere on the ship. We have taken our dinner bottles of wine to the shows many times.
