Too short of day to plan anything?

We are not in port until 11 and leave at 5; have seen reviews of how long to actually get out of port area and wondering if worth trying to book a spot at beach club?  How long should we budget to get off ship, off pier and land at malecon?

We absolutely love Costa Maya and would not even think of staying onboard or at the port.  Getting off the ship takes whatever time it takes.  Walk to the port and just keep walking until you get out to the parking lot.  Go out the gate and get a cab to Blue Key.  Don’t need reservations.  Enjoy the time you have.  It’s easy to get a cab back.  I would think 45 minutes each way unless there are mobility issues to take into account.  There’s nothing in the port for us to stop walking for.

Blue Kay is at the northern end of the malecon. Bars are one after the other along the malecon - Tropicante is about half-way. Checkout Crew’s list with photos in the sticky at the top of Costa Maya board. There are a series of consecutive posts.
