Dublin Embarkation

Does anyone know if there are any amenities at the Dublin Cruise Terminal i.e. wine shop or restaurant? Our flight arrives at 7:30 and since we will have 'luggage' it appears that the terminal will have to be our first stop. Can luggage be checked and/or stored there around 9:00 on the 14th? Once again the problem with the 2 bottles of allowable wine - if we buy it at home, it has to be packed in the checked luggage and subject to the luggage police. Otherwise we need source a place to purchase in Dublin.

I doubt you will find much there.   It is a very industrial port and is not very passenger friendly to walk around the port.

Cruise Critich has a port guide which will provide you with information on Port of Dublin.   You will be docking at Alexandra Pier.

This is a pretty good overview of the port

You can only purchase alcohol after 10.30 am in Ireland. So I suggest go to the port and check in your luggage with a porter and then enjoy a few hours in the city and purchase your wine. Anyone will direct you to a supermarket nearby.....do not purchase from a restaurant or pub as you will be charged for a 10 Euro bottle of wine maybe 40 Euro or more!!

Only other solution pack in your suitcase at home and remove before you check in at port. Have a fantastic day in Dublin.

We booked a private tour that picked us at the airport, did some city sights, had lunch and then headed to the pier.  They had room for our luggage.  It was great, got to see some of Dublin and not wait around the port.  Embarkation was super fast and easy when I was there last April.
