ijkh Posted February 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2019 Recently there have been a variety of critical reviews of Crystal. I went to find out more. They had a bogus cabin number listed. How can you stop false reviews? Example: https://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=647377
Rare broberts Posted February 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2019 It is possible that the reviewer intentionally used a bogus cabin number to prevent identification. If you have a problem with a review you might email your complaint to community@cruisecritic.com.
Administrators Rare LauraS Posted February 19, 2019 Administrators #3 Share Posted February 19, 2019 Hello: I'll be happy to respond here. Truthfully I do not blame anyone for putting in an anonymous cabin number, especially when writing a full-fledged review of their cruise that might contain negative comments. We ask for sail date, and we display the month and year. It wouldn't be too difficult for someone to figure out who wrote the review. We use a number of factors and algorithms (including real humans!!) to moderate our cruise review content before it appears on the site. It was obvious to us the member used an anonymous cabin number to submit. If you have any additional questions, please write to me at: community@cruisecritic.com as broberts suggested.
