the district was great with the piano man.  He is  someone who who sings and plays to the crowd, jokes etc.  I can not remember his name but he was on the Bliss for the Thanksgiving cruise and he plans on being on the Encore for next Thanksgiving as well.  If anyone remember his name please let me know so I can find out where he is at now,  we will be on the Breakaway in April.

Jim Badger is the piano players name in DBH. At least it was in Jan. He is an "entertainer" for sure. Saw his show 3 or 4 times.

Just off the Bliss.  Beatles main theater show was earlier in the week for our cruise, I think Wednesday, I'll check tonight and confirm day/time.  No problem getting in, no reservations, we just showed up about 20 min early.  It was a great show in the theater but seeing them in the Cavern Club is even better.   We found the best way to get a good seat in the Cavern Club is to go to the late show, but be there right when the early show ends.  As soon as that crowd is out  head on in, grab a seat and have a drink.

Checked the Daily and the Beatles show in the theater was on Tuesday (Day 4) at 8pm.  Not sure if this was a one time change or the new schedule.  Jersey Boys was twice on Thursday and twice on Friday.

One other thing - do your best eating before you do the "ocean loops" water slide that goes out over the water. More often than not, people weren't heavy enough to make it to the end. 1-2 guacamoles at Los Lobos and 2-3 hot chocolates at Cocos should do the trick.

This is the best tip!

Thanks, but maybe I should have stated dailies from March 2019.  We will be on the Bliss 3/16 so I am trying to plan accordingly and to make sure my go kart reservations and such don't conflict with other activities that I may want to attend.

I'd try  asking in the roll calls. Find someone who's just gotten back or is about to leave.

Thanks for your responses. Still waiting for updated/new dailes? Anyone... Anyone....????

Just off last week.  I have them all.  How would you like me to get them to you?  You will have an amazing time.  It was my best cruise out of like 20 plus.

Watch your wallet they want you to spend another 4k as you will see at the end of the week.

Beatles show is not to be missed.

Elevators suck, they  want you to use the stairs.

Local is great for a bloody mary and an omellete at breakfast and after closing the casino at 4 am...

Captain is awesome as is Lucas the cruise director.

DO NOT MISS getting a fantastic cocktail form Bong & Chocolate Cowboy at Mojitos. Tell em Sean sent you (our special needs son they have known for years... )

Steakhouse is a must do.

Pools look like Coney Island in the 20's>> very sad. Pre mixed drinks watch out.

To many people = Bliss. 5,800 hundred passengers and a three story atrium and 12 elevators,

you figure it out. :)

Booked the Harmony and Mardi Gra> can't wait !

We are the Moore's

Tampa Bay

I was on Bliss last week, and had no issues with the elevators.  I don't think I waited anymore than a minute for an elevator to arrive.  I do take the stairs if it's only a couple decks, so maybe that is the reason, or maybe our cruise wasn't full.  The only real crowd at the elevators I saw was right after a show let out of the main theater.  We would just exit theater, cut through the Local and head for the aft elevators, never a crowd there.

If you're a fan of guacamole, Los Lobos doesn't disappoint. We went there on a few occasions JUST for the guacamole.

Tip: give yourself plenty of time. They make it table side which allows you to really customize based on your preferences (go easy on the jalapeno, etc.), but the downside is that there are 1-3 carts to accommodate all the orders. We thought we would squeeze it in as an appetizer before our dinner at cagneys one night, and we were late to dinner. It took an hour to order, get the guacamole, eat and close out.

Also, make your go-cart/laser tag reservations early on in the cruise. The crowds with unlimited passes beat us to the punch and we ended up with a 7pm go-cart reservation on the last night of the cruise. We thought we would get right on when the ship was empty/at port, but it turns out the track isn't open until way later. That was disappointing for us.

One other thing - do your best eating before you do the "ocean loops" water slide that goes out over the water. More often than not, people weren't heavy enough to make it to the end. 1-2 guacamoles at Los Lobos and 2-3 hot chocolates at Cocos should do the trick.

how do people get unlimited passes for the go cart and laser tag?

Thanks

Thanks, I'm doing my single digit dance for the Bliss.  We also take the stairs as much as possible so we don't feel guilty about eating dessert.

Btw- we have thermal spa passes for the week, did the Bliss upgrade anything from the Escape?

We were on the Bliss in Alaska in September. The Prohibition show is quite entertaining but the drinks at that show were not great.  We were able to get paper straws at the bars when we had frozen drinks, but I don’t know if you still can.

We just got off the Bliss last week.  Ordered frozen drinks a couple of times, but only once did they come with the paper straws.   We didn't ask other times as we had brought our own.   We once heard a couple next to us (in The Local, or a MDR?) ask for a straw for their soda but waiter said they didn't have them.    If you want a straw, much easier to bring your own.
