mkitchy Posted February 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2019 The old Carnival Holiday, now the MS Megellan has been in Cabo all day. Sailed on her three times.
Rare mexicobob Posted February 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2019 My first ship. Would like to see her again. Not sure if I would like to sail on her again though. That was one rocky ship.

Over ten yrs. ago now, back in September 2008 I spotted the ex-Carnival Celebration docked at Barcelona with her distinctive whale tail. At that time, she was re-named GRAND CELEBRATION, sailing for Ibero Cruises a Spanish outfit .

samiam0403 Posted February 20, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2019 Nice to see her still sailing! I sailed on her 3 or 4 times (including her last-ever Carnival sailing) and loved everything about the ship. Her crew was one of the best I've ever sailed with. Thanks for the memories!
lucky13elec Posted February 20, 2019 #10 Share Posted February 20, 2019 Holiday was my family's first Carnival cruise in 1992. My kids were 8 & 10, the maitre'd came to the table & cut up our youngest son's food for us. No S&S card & had the plastic keys with holes in it. Completely different cruise experience. Sailed the Celebration 3 times over the years. They are antique now but filled with great memories.

Rare Jamman54 Posted February 21, 2019 #13 Share Posted February 21, 2019 The cruise that started my addiction was on the Holiday when she was brand new back in 1985.At the time that she was launched she was the 3rd largest cruise ship in the world. only the Norway and QE2 were bigger. how times have changed!!!
