lianaks Posted March 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2019 We will be on Princess Crown in June, at port Le Havre what else can we do beside visiting the war memorial. We travel with young children, and don't think they will enjoy the long ride to the war memorial. Is the town walkable or anything else we can do close to port. Liana. Rare geoherb Posted March 6, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2019 We walked around the town when we were there a couple of years ago. We enjoyed the sights, especially the modern art museum's wonderful collection of Impressionists' paintings. With young children, I'd plan a visit to the natural history museum. Globaliser Posted March 6, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Am I the only person seeing a disconnect between the thread title and the content of the post? I wonder whether the OP meant to ask about what's in the thread title, because the actual post seems to replicate an earlier thread (see below). The answer to the question in the thread title may depend on whether it's the railway station or the coach station, and what the OP will have been doing immediately before getting to Victoria. (For example, if they're transferring from the ship to Victoria coach station and then going straight on to Heathrow, it might make more sense to go directly from the ship to Heathrow without ever going into central London.) Having read that earlier thread, when I began reading this one, I thought I’d clicked on the wrong link. Edited March 6, 2019 by Turtles06
Bob++ Posted March 6, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 6, 2019 (edited) The answer to the thread title is - National Express Coaches https://www.nationalexpress.com/en Frequent, cheap, simple and direct. Note though that the coach station is a short way down the road from the train station. Edited March 6, 2019 by Bob++
