cb at sea Posted March 9, 2019 #26 Share Posted March 9, 2019 If you can afford 2 cabins or a 2 room suite...go for it! I have friends who have different sleeping hours, and that works for them!
Relax@Sea Posted March 9, 2019 #27 Share Posted March 9, 2019 We just book a cabin with 2 separate rooms, if that is not an option I bring our white sound generator and it helps.
LuckyTheRooster Posted March 10, 2019 #28 Share Posted March 10, 2019 Temperature is a big reason for separate cabins - I freeze and have to bring long johns to sleep in because HE is the controller of the thermostat!!!! We don't always agree on what is on the tv either - I like to watch the silly cruise shows and he wants just the music on? So yes, there is something to be said for dual cabins - just make sure you have a visiting hours schedule....and then you must go back to your cabin - and if you order room service - don't forget my tuna sandwich! So our situation is not that odd: https://www.rd.com/advice/relationships/why-married-couples-sleep-in-separate-beds/ https://www.huffpost.com/entry/should-i-sleep-in-a-separate-bed_n_572278e5e4b01a5ebde51c14 Guess what? No one cares about your sleeping arrangements.
