since it is now after final payment they might not do it. You might have to cancel the existing reservation and rebook, be aware of cancellation penalties. you will have to talk to your travel agent or call up NCL

Yes you can change unless the booking was in his name. If it was, they will have to do a complete re-book.

We did just this a few years back.  Daughter and her husband were both named on the reservation.  Son in law did not go, as they were divorcing.  Daughter was able to add her brother onto reservation in ex's place.  Had to pay a small change fee, I believe, like $50. But my memory is foggy about that detail.  Have your daughter call cruise line and inquire.

 

My condolences on the breakup.
