ugagal07 Posted March 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2019 We have UDP and the beverage package on our Allure cruise at the end of the month. DH was looking for a sake menu at Izumi. Is there one? Can he get sake without eating at Izumi? Thank you in advance.
spookwife Posted March 12, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2019 if it has a bar set up, then possibly. if it is just the restaurant, then maybe at the sushi bar, but typically any seats are reserved for those eating. there is no separate sake menu and the offerings are.. basic.. to put it politely. ShillyShally Posted March 12, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2019 DH just found a terrific sake and sriracha blended drink at Izumi on Indy last week! We ate there so not sure if you can get the drinks without eating there but they do have a decent drink menu. We had the beverage package too.
SRF Posted March 12, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2019 Not a huge menu, but a nice selection. IIRC, sake is not included in the beverage package. And you cannot use the ala carte value against it. Basically, the cost of the sake is fully charged to your account.

We didn't order straight sake but had no problem using the beverage package for the sake mixed drink at Izumi. I'm thinking though you're talking about a bottle of sake? Orsino Posted March 13, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 13, 2019 If you have the UDP, you can get 40% off bottles of sake at Izumi. I don't know if you have to be eating there or not though.

It was terrific – husband ordered it a few times and son ordered it when he joined us – it had a great kick! Much better than the grapefruit habanero one in the Schooner bar! It’s the Spicy Okinawa – sriracha and citrus mixed with agave, grapefruit juice and premium sake
