50th Wedding Vow Renewal

We just surprised my parents with a family cruise to celebrate their 50th wedding.  There will be 14 people total.  We called Celebrity and it would cost $3,000 to do a vow renewal, which is outrageous.  We already spent more than expected on the cruise.  My husband is an officiant, so we really don’t need anything from the cruise line.   Is there somewhere on the ship we could do something ourselves?  Would the ship be ok with that?

The Events Coordinator is responsible for any events that are scheduled to take place during your cruise. You may have to settle for a non public venue such as a Conference room if you don't pay a fee. Congratulations and have a memorable event.
