DISFANS3 Posted March 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I am looking for the best restaurant in Old San Juan PR? Nothing High $$ or low cost food trucks. Thanks.. Arrive Tomorrow.. Thanks..
LittleYiaYia Posted March 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2019 We enjoy Punto de Vista on top of the Hotel Milano. Great fish tacos, mofongo and BOGO mojitos before 5PM. Be sure to get there early or you might have a wait. Service is good, prices are reasonable. For a totally different experience and atmosphere, Marmelade just down street from there is $$$$, great for foodies, reservations are a must. Check out both on Trip Advisor. Rare crewsweeper Posted March 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2019 If you see this before heading out. In addition to Punto de Vista, there's Barachinas, Café Manolin, and El Jibarito all with local food at reasonable prices. For a quick bite La Bombanera or Mallorca have great coffee and (obviously, mallorcas)
spelican Posted April 2, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2019 I can second Cafe Manolin and El Jibarito for outstanding local food. My wife and I never miss a visit to both on every trip to Old San Juan.
knbcruisers Posted April 2, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 2, 2019 DH and just had lunch at Raices just 2 blocks from the pier. It was excellent and the waiter helped us understand the menu and order traditional food. This restaurant was recommended to us by two different friends who go to San Juan regularly to visit family. Surrealistic Posted April 17, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 17, 2019 I second the Raices recommendation. We've been there twice and food was great. Love that the servers wear traditional costumes.
aquidneck1 Posted April 18, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 18, 2019 I love the Mojitos and stuffed avocado for lunch at Cafe El Punto. We had an amazing experience there. Enjoy.
