Pension3X Posted March 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I enjoy sailing out of San Pedro since I only live approximately one hour away driving time. With the introduction of the Royal to Southern California, does anyone know what this has done to the parking situation? If multiple cruises are leaving on the same day with relatively short cruises (7 days or less), I would imagine the parking lot can get extremely full and couple this with the USS Iowa parking that on some days there may be no place to park at all. tonit964 Posted March 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2019 I've parked there when there were two ships in port on the weekend, ours was the NCL Bliss. Had no trouble at all finding close parking.
spingal Posted March 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Today there are 4 ships in port!!! So I wonder what the situation is when there are that many ships!
TheRabbit Posted March 30, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2019 There is also parking over by the terminal for the Catalina ferry. With multiple ships in port on the same day, we have not had problems, even when we boarded from the outer harbor berth 46 and had to park by 92 and shuttle. Both 93 and 92 were full that day. The port schedule shows 3 ships as does the MarineTraffic website.

I was looking at this website .... http://m.cruisett.com Didn’t realize they include San Pedro and Long Beach as the same port!
