Reporting from Azura - very poor, and much in need of that refit!

Don't expect her to look as shiny and new and, like all of us, she is showing signs of wear and tear as she has got older and you'll be fine.

Thanks.

We have sailed on all the P&O ships since 2003.

All the new ships we sailed on in their maiden season.

Sorry if it sounded patronising - you are more seasoned cruisers than us. :-)

We sailed on Celebrity Silhouette  and Britannia in their maiden seasons and are returning to Celebrity on Edge on her maiden cruise.

They certainly have their own personalities and we can see why they call ships 'she' :-)

You didn't sound patronising.

Our cruise on Independence in 2 weeks will be our 50th cruise but after the critical threads on Azura I was delighted to hear your positive comments.

I prefer port intensive cruises and it was Pauline's idea to do the TA which will be our first TA.

Thanks again for your inspiring review.

Regards Graham.

Never knew that. So all of the time we talk about an aft cabin it isn't really the aft it is an stern cabin ????? :-)

No! I have to admit it is a bit confusing.

Bow and Stern simply describe parts of the ship. Fore (front), aft (rear) midships (middle) describe areas of the ship.

So an aft cabin, is one at the rear of the ship.
