Parking at Doubletree San Pedro?

Just confused? The hotel advertises free parking.

They also have a room rate that includes breakfast and parking for the duration of any cruise.

IF we just pay the AAA rate can we still park for the duration of the cruise for free?

Now it's even stranger! I just went back to the web site and the rate with parking during the cruise + bkfst has disappeared!!!

Any info would be helpful.

I just messaged with the hotel and they say we need to book the more expensive park and cruise rate since we need many days of parking. I cannot even use my Hilton pts to book! Oh well!!

Well it's free parking while you're there, but since you're on the boat, you're no longer there and the extra $ is for storing your car.

 

When we stayed there a few years ago the free breakfast was a breakfast buffet and only for two people per room.  I noticed that if you ordered a made to order breakfast like scramble eggs and bacon, the waiter will just get it from the buffet for you  Sunny-side up will come from the kitchen  Hope it's different now.

We have used their park and stay package MANY times. The parking has always been safe. It usually comes out less expensive to stay a night at the hotel and park for the duration of the cruise than to park at the port (depending upon the length of the cruise). They offer a free shuttle to/from the port.
