If not, our downtown area is 10 minutes walking at most from the port and has the Maritime museum, Kura Hulunda slavery museum, the oldest synagagoe in the Western hemisphere, plenty of restaurants and shops, street art.
cruiseapril Posted May 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2019 (edited) Agree that Willemstad is the best excursion-free port. There is plenty to do -free- for a half day or even a day, if one goes back to the ship for lunch. Edited May 3, 2019 by cruiseapril

cpayne Posted July 11, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2019 Check the maritime museum. They offer a harbor boat tour that was 90 min I believe? I think was just a few dollars cost? Informed boat ride and was covered with shade.
cruiseapril Posted August 19, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 19, 2019 A fun thing to do is to take a taxi up to Fort Nassau for the view and early cocktails. (6 p.m.) The menu is online.

No hills but some of the streets in Punda are brick, mostly even. Not sure what your mobility issues are, but I do see guests with walkers, canes and scooters in Punda and they seem to be getting around fine.
