Where are the reviews?

Hello everyone,

 

We have sailed multiple times on Carnival and Norwegian and have decided to try Royal Caribbean for a cruise to the ABC islands.

 

My question is:  Before we cruised on the other cruise lines, we went on CC under the different boards and would easily find great long reviews detailing the cruise with pictures along with the original poster answering questions   It doesn't seem like there are many on the Royal Caribbean site.

 

We will be on the Freedom of the Seas in December.

Facebook has a lot of information now by ship or Royal Caribbean.  The new format that cruise critic has made it difficult to do full reviews so most have stopped trying.

That's too bad.  I have used this site for years and have always found it very helpful in my trip planning.  I am also frustrated that I can no longer click on the ship and find reviews without having to scroll through all the posts.

You can still find them.  Just have to be creative using the search function.

Try the link "Research" at the top of the Cruise Critic page. Scroll down the page to Reviews, then drag down to any particular ship are  interested ...select "find a ship".

I use the "Research" section at the top.  enter the ship you are interested in and then you can go directly to "Reviews."

You can also try starting a new thread with a FOS - grabbing title like:

Freedom of the Seas - Tell me all your tips!

 

Advice for Freedom of the Seas, Please!

 

etc. 

 

I agree that doing a search for Freedom, or advanced for all of the words, will at least give you fewer posts to scroll through.

If you are looking for info on the ABC islands, check out this blog.    They were on Jewel of the Seas but have info on the island.
