Rare aimcat Posted April 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2019 When we have paid parking before we have always used our debit card, it can be used just like a CC run wise. Its stamped Visa. Can we still not use that to pay parking at the port or do we truly have to use a CC or cash?
hallux Posted April 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2019 Well, this would indicate no debit cards - https://www.miamidade.gov/portmiami/parking-information.asp Maybe run it as a credit card, but have a backup form of payment in case it doesn't work? BNBR Posted April 19, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2019 Should have no issue running it as credit.

Agree, run as Credit. But it's getting bad traveling now, so I also bring Cash, Prepaid Card and Credit Card while traveling. Places including some Airlines won't take cash, some won't take Debit and some will charge you extra for using a Credit Card.
Milwaukee Eight Posted April 20, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) I have used my Debit/VISA card at the Miami Port. Don’t remember if I ran it as Debit or VISA. This was in 2017. Edited April 20, 2019 by Milwaukee Eight
AlanFromFL Posted April 22, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2019 I've used my Visa Check card (debit card) at POM many times. As long as your debit card has a Visa or MasterCard logo, no problem. They're referring to ATM cards without a Visa or MasterCard logo that generally require a pin at the point of sale.
