U.K. Warns Against Travel to Sri Lanka

I wonder if X will be changing any of their itineraries? I believe it’s on some of Connie’s schedules for later in the year.

Sri Lanka is a port stop on Connie's Abu Dhabi to Singapore itinerary. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it dropped if the bombings continue. It's so awful to see this happen after the country had finally recovered from it's civil war. We really enjoyed our visit to Colombo.

Yes, we’ll just have to see what transpires. The link has been updated since I originally posted it and advice is now included.

We're booked on the December Dubai - Singapore......just have to wait and see.

I see that Tui have cancelled all holidays to Sri Lanka today.

My daughter and son in law went there earlier this year and loved the place and the people. Tourism is a big earner for many parts of the country 😢.

Yes, and sending current tourists home; it is such a shame for all concerned. Obviously if it’s not removed from itineraries, UK pax would have to check that their travel insurance would still be valid. A few months left before Connie is due to make stops there, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
