Shoe King Posted April 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Hi guys, We are booked onto the Richard With for our honeymoon in February 2020 for the 12 day round trip. We cant find photos of how the ship now looks after the refurbishment it had, but it sounds like its had quite the transformation. Has anyone on here travelled on the ship from the refurbishment? hallasm Posted April 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2019 You are right - quite a lot of changes when refurbished last year. grayjay Posted April 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2019 We sailed on her in March 2019. Have you got any special questions? Not all cabins were refurbished, for example. The public spaces looked very nice. We liked our voyage very much despite the inclement weather conditions. Service and food was absolutely excellent! Ask away! We're happy to answer any questions as well as we can.
Aliyah17 Posted September 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2019 We just booked on Richard With for 4 December. Wow, now I have even more questions than before! I'm glad I didn't toss the cold weather gear when we moved from Boston.

As we have sailed on Richard With after the refurbishment we came to know the ship quite well. If you still have questions, we'll be happy to answer them. One important thing might be the cabin you booked: Suites are great, for example, but a lot of the lower-category cabins ( even in the Arctic Superior cat.) are still extraordinarily small, some have not even double beds.( just XTD cat., mini-suites/suites) I'm sure you'll have a great time on Richard With and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to have clear nights and northern lights! Wansbrough Posted January 2, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 2, 2020 Would I be right in thinking having trawled their website that some of the Polar Outsides have double beds?

The 11 coastal voyage ships are different and Polar Outside cabins can be different on the same ship - from the category you’re able to figure out which Polar Outside has a double bed.
