forward facing vs starboard balcony

HI!

Does any one know which would have a better view for seeing Alaska?

I'm booked on a Northbound Alaskan cruise on Norwegian Jewel. This includes the inside passage, Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier. I booked a forward facing penthouse suite, now I'm wondering if a starboard balcony room would give us a better view of the actual coast line. Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thanks!!!

With forward facing you could see a more panoramic view of what is coming, but I would wonder about the usability of it while sailing. It can be chilly and windy, but especially chilly while in Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier.  With the inside passage, there will not be much time that there are not views on both sides.  I think you should ask this on the board here for NCL, located under Cruise Lines A-O.  EM
