Yes you are, I think it's technically not allowed by the "rules" since it is a heat producing item, but they let curling irons slide along with straighteners. My girlfriend brought both on the Getaway last week without any issues.

Curling irons are allowed by the rules.

 

ITEMS WITH HEATING ELEMENTS OR OPEN FLAMES
Certain items that generate heat or produce an open flame are not permitted onboard. This includes clothing irons, hotplates, candles, incense and any other item that may create a fire hazard. Curling irons and hair dryers are allowed and may require a converter.
