Going on the Explorer soon and wondered if room service is still free?

Its been a few years since we sailed with RCL and aware that there have been changes.  Would be interested to hear whats changed in the last 6 years or so.

Many thanks

If you are booked in a Grand Suite (or higher), room service is still free.

Otherwise, unless it's continental breakfast, you pay $7.95 + 18% on each delivery.  (not each item)

Is that for all room service? Was on P&O recently and with them breakfast was free but everything else was charged

Continental breakfast is free of charge but for every other order you would pay a $7.95 fee 😊

This is not P&O. Various cruise lines have their own rules on a multitude of items. You cannot compare the rules

Ah thank you sounds the same as P&O then. Its usually only breakfast we would order if we had a trip booked and wanted to be out early.

Yep that’s what we do if we have a trip booked - just make sure you order from the ‘Continental breakfast’ side of the menu, and not the ‘American breakfast’ side 😊

We have hot room service breakfast every morning and sit on the balcony to eat it.

The selection is much better than it was previously when it was free.

You can have as much as you like on the menu.

Continental breakfast is still free.
