ryndam Posted August 10, 2019 #31 Share Posted August 10, 2019 We had a home in Galveston for many years. In our opinion, the best restaurant on the island is Rudy & Paco's. Another great choice is Black Pearl Oyster Bar. Saltwater Grille is another stand-by and is located directly across the street from Rudy & Paco's. All three are located downtown within walking distance of the cruise piers. Gaido's on the Seawall is a Galveston institution, now celebrating it's 108th year in business!
