Contact info while "unplugging" for the week!

Hello,

 

Sailing on the Allure in 6 days and my husband, daughter and I are looking forward to being "unplugged" for the week. But, I want my son (who can't make the trip) to be able to reach us if there is a problem. What is the best way for him to do that? He's not a kid (26), but still want to have contact info for him.

He can call the ship but it's $7.95/ minute.  Maybe you could buy a VOOM surf only package for one device?  You can make and receive calls over the WIFI (assuming your phone allows it and most do) and you can also text or email.  I know you said you want to unplug, but that would be a better option to keep in contact with your son IMO.

If you really want to be unplugged just use the 1 800 number that Bob gave.  In the unlikely event of a real emergency you won’t care about the $7.95 a minute charge for the 5 minute call.
