maryred Posted May 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2019 The unfortunate truth is some maitre 'Ds and specialty restaurant hostesses on Carnival don't ever send a confirmation prior to sailing. Some will send something within a week of the request, and yet others might not confirm until a week or 2 before embarkation. The best thing to do is ask those on your Roll Call (here and on other social media sites or apps) if they have received any info on dining reservations. Then double check your spam folder of your email, since the reply comes from the "ship's initials"maitred @ carnival.com not customer service at Carnival corp. Rare 1025cruise Posted May 22, 2019 #10 Share Posted May 22, 2019 Unlike other cruise lines, Carnival doesn't use a reservation system for the Steakhouse. When you request a reservation, an email is sent to the steakhouse and they "check the book" and let you know. You should also check your SPAM folder just in case.
