evelyn51 Posted May 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2019 Are they empty on embarkation or like in some hotels with pricey treats? Is it true (or my wishful thinking) that a small amount of soda can be purchased for the refrigerator? 🙂

Ken at the beach Posted May 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) Soda can be purchased. You may also bring on 12 cans per stateroom in carry on luggage at embarkation. Edited May 23, 2019 by Ourusualbeach
Rare h20skibum Posted May 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2019 What ship? Some staterooms on some ships do not have refrigerators, or coolers. You would have to rely on your stateroom attendant to bring you ice in that case.
Btank Posted May 23, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2019 "Refrigerator" is a relative term. On Freedom a week and a half ago, the fridge was empty - but also has a sign saying that the minimum temperature was 55 degrees F. Drinks were cool, but not cold. --bruce T.

Rare island lady Posted May 23, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) Very happy to see RCI finally do away with the snacks, beer, soda, and the bottles of water for sale in the cabins. They were making a killing on charging for items you never used...posted to your charge account AFTER you left the ship. Was really getting so bad, I ended up keeping my sea pass account as cash only...could not charge after the fact any longer.
