Caribbean Princess Late Dining

Hello everyone,

I am sailing on the CB in July.  We requested the late seating (7:15 PM) which reads as confirmed on the personalizer.  Cruise Critic's review of the ship says there is no traditional late seating, only early.  I have been on the CB before but we did ATD then and it was several years ago.

My assumption is to go by the cruise personalizer, but I am curious if anyone has knowledge of recent sailings and whether this has been recently changed.  Thank you!

I was on the CB last November and had second (late) seating TD.  Second seating was in the aft deck 6 MDR and was at 7:30 PM.  Whoever posted that there is no second/late seating in TD is wrong.   The two midship MDR, one on deck 6 is always ATD and the midship MDR on deck 5 starts out as TD and then about 7:30 or so moves to ATD.  Deck 6 aft MDR is TD all night.  Hope this clears it up for you.

While the dining times are no longer accurate, the Cruise Critic review correctly states which dining rooms have early seating and which have late:

https://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=303&pgtype=dining

Island and Coral Dining Rooms (Decks 5 and 6, midship):

One of the dining rooms (Coral Dining Room on our sailing) is first reserved for a set-time 5:30 p.m. early-dinner seating, opening for Anytime Dining after 7:30 p.m. (There is no late set seating.)

Palm Dining Room (Deck 6, aft):

Seating in Palm is set seating only, with early dinner at 5:45 p.m. and late dinner at 8 p.m.

On the CB last November first seating (early) TD was at 5:30 and second seating (late) TD was at 7:45.  This is after Princess told us that we were on the second seating TD at 7:15.  Like everything with Princess times sometimes change!   We are about to board another Princess cruise and we will see when second seating TD actually is.

I am on the CB right now. Palm dining room has 2 traditional seatings, i.e. 5:15 and 7:30. Coral dining room has early fixed seating from 5:15 to 7:30 then becomes anytime. Island dining room is anytime.

Hope this helps.
