Guarantee Cabin Assignment

When you have a guaranteed cabin, but not assigned how will you be notified when the decision is made and when does that typically happen?

It can happen any time up until you check in for your cruise!  Usually, it's earlier and they'll send an email.

Just saw our assignment on a guarantee and we are 37 days out from our sail date. I saw it when I signed into my personalizer. No email received yet.

Best way to check is to sign in to Princess and look at the personalizer for your cruise.  The cabin assignment will show up there.  Most times it will be several weeks before you sail but could be in the last few days before sailing.

On our last Princess cruise, we found out our cabin assignment when we checked in at the pier.

Ditto. I hear the assignment can be changed by princess. I won't consider it final until 3 days out.

True, no point in printing luggage tags yet. There could be a reasonable upsell offer in the next few weeks too, from what I’ve read on cc. Our sailing date has a lot of open balconies and we are in an obstructed OV. 🤞

I'm waiting for my cabin assignments for my cruises on June 19 and 26. I usually find them first on the Princess website before my TA has a chance to forward the email from Princess.

My TA told me anytime, but because I transferred my booking to their agency she said that I may see my cabin on the cruise personalizer before she does.
