aaaaa Posted June 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Good day. Is it possible to put a cabin on hold for, say, 24 hours -- online? When I go through the booking process, I see an option to put down a deposit but no "hold" option. Thanks.
KS&JW Posted June 22, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2019 I know that your TA can hold a cruise for you but don't think you can do it online.
Rare pinotlover Posted June 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2019 System doesn’t allow it. Call your TA. The system shows a cabin as available until the deposit is actually received. The cabin itself may be already held by another cruiser and not actually available. Allowing on line holds could cause multiple bookings! This problem would be highly aggravated on popular cruises when the booking window first opens. There is already a game and a TA dance over who gets what cabin in those situations. That however is another story.
ropomo Posted June 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2019 You can also call Oceania directly and an agent will place the cabin on hold for 72 hours with no deposit. You can transfer to your TA if you decide to book.
