Johnny Rockets question

Recommended Posts

Sailing on the Freedom of the Seas in August and would like to get some info from some recent cruisers regarding Johnny Rockets.   Exactly how much extra per person is it to eat there?  Also, is it open 24 hours?  Thanks so much!

On most ships, Johnny Rockets comes with a cover charge of $6.95 per person that includes most food on the menu  You will be able to eat as much as you care to order.  Milk shakes and other beverages come with an extra cost.

On the Quantum class cruise ships, Johnny Rockets does not have a cover charge and instead has an a la carte menu, where each item on the menu has an individual cost.

Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society members will often get a coupon to dine at Johnny Rockets, which is usually a free cover charge.

Your information is outdated.

No one gets a BOGO for JR any more.  Not for quite a while.

And the price is higher.  It's not the same on every ship either.  I think that it's $9.95 on Freedom.  On some ships, this includes a soda with your meal.

The only Quantum class ship with a Johnny Rockets is the Anthem.  And yes, it has a la carte pricing.

Johnny Rockets is $9.95 on most ships, recently reported 11.95 on Allure incl soda.

Go up to the top of this page and use the "search" box. Type in Freedom Johnny Rockets and see what happens.

I'm D+ and never had a free meal at Johnny Rockets. We always received a 2 for 1 shake.

On Oasis class ships, if you have a Boardwalk cabin, you receive a free meal at JRs regardless of your C&A status

Note... Ovation of the Seas does not have Johnny Rockets. On this ship it's "Fish&Ships"

edit: beat me to it M_M 😊

Nah... don't do that. Just know that RCL has things that change yearly... monthly.... heck, week to week and from ship to ship.

One ship will do something one way, the ship across the pier at the same port does it totally different.

Went to Sands Casino yesterday and saw they were selling a hamburger for $10.49, with a cheeseburger being $10.69, plus 6% PA sales tax.  So there are burger joints more expensive than JR, still not gonna eat there.  Place at Sands was called 'Mo Burger, saw no one buying anything.

On a positive note the cheese was only 20 cents more. Most places around here charge a dollar more.

I hear they're open for breakfast and that it's gratis. What do they serve? Is there a breakfast menu? Does it differ depending on the ship?

JR is only open for breakfast on Oasis class ships.

The Patty n' Eggs caught my eye, but is it possible to get a REAL burger patty and not a fake soy patty for breakfast?

Won't hurt to ask, but they may not have that stocked.

Anyone know if JR is included in Unlimited Dining on Symphony? We will be on with the pkg in August. I believe I read some conflicting reports for different ships.

And although it may be different on different ships, the two times we ate at JR’s on our Liberty B2B in March, the shakes were covered by our drink package.

Did they require a food purchase to get the "free" shakes?

We had the RR package on our Liberty of the Seas cruise (June 9-16, 2019) and in order to get the milkshakes free with our package you had to purchase food. There was an $11.95 charge per person for food.
