Start Time for an independent excursion?

Greetings all,

I arrive in Grand Cayman at 7:00am on my upcoming cruise. From what I can tell, this is a tender port. If we book an excursion at 9:30am, will that be enough time for us to get off of the ship? The cruise is with Celebrity and my understanding is the ship's tours will be the first to get tendered to shore.

Thanks for all of your insight! This is my first time in Grand Cayman!

Tenders are only a short way out.  Maybe 5 minutes ride tops.  Once they start (maybe 7:15 or 7:30 after ship is cleared) they turn around pretty quickly.    If you're meeting at the dock, you should have no problem.

You'll be fine.  It is a short trip and the loading/unloading of passengers takes more time than the trip!  Tenders hold about 200+ people each time.  And remember, not everyone is in a hurry to leave...especially at 7:30am!
