Who can sign a child out of the kids club?

We're taking granddaughter aged 13 and grandson age 9.  Can the 13 year old sign the 9 year old out of his camp?  Or only the adults?

The adults can sign the little one out.

13 year olds are not adults so no they cannot sign their sibling out.

If I remember my readings correctly from a few years ago, Camp Ocean Sharks (9 to 11) can sign themselves out, provided that adults authorize the privilege.  So, you can authorize your 9-year-old to sign himself in and out, and probably make a rule that he must be accompanied by his older sister or you (the grandparents) at all times.  If you don't authorize him the sign-out privilege, your granddaughter cannot sign him out. (Some Camp Ocean activities require sign-out privileges, since they're help outside the Camp area.)

 

Circle C (12 to 14, for your granddaughter) have no sign-out restrictions at all, and can come and go to the club as they please.  Organized activities are still held.
