Does NCL offer luggage shipping to the nearby airports like Disney does?

 

On the Bliss later this year. Arrive NYC but our flight isn't until 10:00pm. Would like to spend the day in the city without the luggage.

NCL does not offer a luggage valet service.

As previous posters have stated, no; NCL doesn't offer this service.  Wish they did!!

 

IF, however, you purchase the NCL shuttle to the airport they will transport your luggage to the airport.  For example, on our last European cruise we flew out of Copenhagen back to NYC and took the NCL shuttle to the airport.  We left our luggage outside our cabin the night before with special tags attached ID'ing our bags as shuttle bound.  We didn't see the bags again until we got to Copenhagen airport; they staged them there in a HUGE tent.  Finding our luggage was a bit of a bother but we prevailed.

 

I don't know how NCL handles NYC airports but I'm sure someone else who's had specific experience can speak to their experience better than me.

 

Here's a suggestion; if you stayed in a major chain's hotel in NYC prior to your departure you may be able to leave your bags with them while you sight see after disembarking.  You'll have to transport your bags to the hotel and you should check with them beforehand if this is allowed; our friends who did this were Marriott's Rewards members who had stayed at their Times Square location before the cruise.  They were able to drop their bags there & sightsee in NYC after getting off the Breakaway last year and before flying home to the UK at 10PM that evening.  They picked up their bags around 7PM (leaving a nice tip!!) & then took a cab out to JFK to catch their flight home.
